This past October 28, something truly significant took place in Rabat. President Emmanuel Macron and Madame Brigitte Macron arrived in Morocco for a state visit at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The timing, the tone, and the symbolism of this visit speak volumes—not just diplomatically, but on a deeper level about partnership, respect, and vision.
What stood out most during this visit? It wasn’t just the ceremonial welcome or the high-level discussions. It was the reaffirmation of Morocco’s sovereignty diplomacy—particularly with regard to the Moroccan Sahara. For those of us who have followed HM King Mohammed VI’s leadership closely, this is more than just politics. It’s a vision becoming reality.
