HE Lalla Chems Doha Alaoui Ismaili, Secretary General of the General Arab Women Federation, Inducted into the 2025 New Africa Hall of Fame

A standing ovation crowned the moment as Her Excellency Lalla Chems Doha Alaoui Ismaili, Secretary General of the General Arab Women Federation, was officially inducted into the 2025 New Africa Hall of Fame during a landmark ceremony held at ENCG Casablanca.
Organized by The New Africa Magazine, ENCG Casablanca, and the International Center for Diplomacy, the event — held under the theme “Our Strength: Knowledge, Our Pride: Dedication” — honored eleven prominent Moroccan figures whose leadership continues to shape Africa’s trajectory in diplomacy, education, governance, and social equity. Among them, Her Excellency stood as a towering symbol of commitment to women’s empowerment, civic leadership, and national service.
Her tribute was a moment of profound national symbolism — not only in recognition of her distinguished institutional roles, but for what she embodies: a living expression of Morocco’s enduring values, rooted in its spiritual heritage, cultural richness, and civic tradition. Her life’s work reflects a seamless alignment with the Kingdom’s forward-looking reforms under the wise and visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI — may God assist and protect him.






The ceremony also acknowledged her active role in national academic and social advancement initiatives, particularly through her membership on the Steering Committee of the Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem Chair at Mohammed V University. This position reflects Her Excellency’s deep commitment to supporting the national vision embodied in the guidance and directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem, whose steadfast advocacy for the rights and dignity of women and children continues to shape national discourse. Through this academic platform, Her Excellency contributes meaningfully to advancing institutional efforts that uphold these values and promote inclusive development in line with the Kingdom’s broader social priorities.
A Career of Distinguished National and International Service
Her Excellency Lalla Chems Doha Alaoui Ismaili is Secretary General of the General Arab Women Federation, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Woman Authority, and Executive Board Member of the National Union of Moroccan Women (UNFM). She also serves as President of the Regional Accredited Association of the UNFM in Salé, covering the Rabat–Salé–Kenitra region.
Her Excellency is also President of the Grand Moulay Ali Cherif Foundation, Vice President of the International Center for Diplomacy, First Vice President of the International Civil Society Organization for the Values of Citizenship, Development, and Dialogue, and Executive Board Member of the Abi Raqraq Association.
Over the course of more than 36 years, she has played a vital role in education, social development, cultural diplomacy, and the advancement of women’s rights, while defending national causes and promoting Morocco’s strategic values abroad. Her contributions have been recognized with over 100 national and international honors, including the prestigious First-Class Order of Merit.
She is also a renowned poet and author, whose celebrated works include “عرش النضال” (Throne of Struggle) and “صحراؤنا أرواحنا لك فداء” (Our Sahara, Our Souls Sacrificed for You). Her book “ولاء ووفاء… من الأجداد إلى الأحفاد” (Loyalty and Devotion: From Ancestors to Descendants) is a literary tribute to generational patriotism and national unity.
Her Excellency has represented the Kingdom in key international forums, including the Swedish Parliament, where she spoke on the advancement of Moroccan women and the issue of territorial integrity. She has participated in high-level forums across Scandinavia, Arab summits on women and innovation, the Arab Women Organization, the African Women’s Conference, the African Humanitarian Action Summit, and the International Forum for Seafarers.
A Speech of Gratitude, Loyalty, and National Pride
In a heartfelt and emotionally resonant address, Her Excellency Lalla Chems Doha Alaoui Ismaili expressed her deep gratitude for being included among the distinguished figures honored at the 2025 New Africa Hall of Fame. She received the distinction with humility, dedicating it to all Moroccan women and youth who strive with commitment and sincerity to serve their nation.
She began by commending ENCG Casablanca, host of the ceremony, for its forward-looking academic culture and its role in cultivating a new generation of leaders. She described the institution as “a school of values and ambition,” adding that “its graduates reflect the excellence, commitment, and patriotic spirit that Morocco needs for its future.”
Her Excellency warmly praised Moroccan youth, describing them as “confident, capable, and deeply rooted in their identity — a source of pride and strength for the Kingdom.”
She also extended special thanks to the International Center for Diplomacy, co-organizer of the New Africa Hall of Fame, recognizing its dedication to strengthening diplomacy, leadership, and African civic dialogue. With heartfelt appreciation, she paid tribute to the Center’s President, Ms. Karima Rhanem, describing her as “a woman of vision and integrity, whose leadership has contributed significantly to enhancing Morocco’s regional presence and the role of youth and women in diplomacy.”
In the same spirit, she thanked The New Africa Magazine for its initiative in creating this continental platform of recognition and for honoring her with this distinguished award — “a meaningful gesture that reinforces the shared values and aspirations of African unity and excellence.”

Her Excellency went on to reaffirm her unwavering attachment to the Kingdom of Morocco, its sacred unity, and its constitutional institutions. She offered a solemn tribute to His Majesty King Mohammed VI — may God assist and protect him — whom she referred to as “the King of Hope,” noting “his leadership in steering the country through a deeply rooted and reform-oriented renaissance, in perfect harmony with his people.”
She reminded the audience that the nation’s achievements are the result of a shared mission:
“What we celebrate today — from the accomplishments of our youth to the recognition of our institutions — stems from the wisdom of our sovereign and the commitment of our citizens.”
Her closing message was one of continuity and conviction — a call to remain faithful to Morocco’s path and values, and a reaffirmation of her personal dedication to serving the nation, its women, and its future with loyalty and pride.
