CAF reaches agreement for TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 Highlights Show on Netflix.

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has reached a landmark agreement with global streaming platform Netflix to broadcast highlights of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 to audiences across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Under the deal, Netflix will license the tournament’s official daily highlights programme, the “AFCON Daily Show,” marking CAF’s first major collaboration with a global streaming service. The partnership is expected to significantly expand the reach of African football by making AFCON content more accessible to a wider and younger audience.

The Morocco 2025 tournament has been described as the most successful AFCON edition to date, with record-breaking global viewership spanning over 180 territories worldwide, surpassing figures recorded during the Côte d’Ivoire 2023 edition. By bringing the highlights to Netflix, CAF aims to showcase not only the football action but also the culture, passion and lifestyle surrounding Africa’s biggest sporting event.
CAF said the agreement aligns with its broader strategy to modernize content distribution, grow its digital footprint and position African football on major international platforms. The move is also expected to attract new fans who may not traditionally follow the tournament through conventional broadcast channels.

The AFCON Daily Show is now available to Netflix subscribers across Sub-Saharan Africa, further strengthening the global visibility and commercial appeal of CAF competitions and reinforcing Africa Cup of Nations as one of the world’s premier football tournaments.
